My mum had a fall last year. Tripped over the kerb at the petrol station. Broke her hip. The hospital was surprised to find she was 79 and expected her to be in and out once they'd plated up her hip. Then she got a bed sore, which got infected and septicaemia killed her quicker than a Glazer can take a fiver from the till.

So let that be a warning next time you fancy a lie-in.

Falls can often be killers with the old, they can be rolling along with whatever illnesses and ailments they have alright, and then have a fall and that's it everything deteriorates further, complications, then kaput

I was trying to catch the circle line, I fell down the stairs rolling down, fortunately I was helped by fellow passengers.
Because I had accident insurance, I though I was going to get some money, sadly my policy did not cover it.
That is all . True story.
