    Yup.

Also, Mazepin's bleating... Ultimate spoilt rich boy. Look at what's happening and read the damn room!

Looks like KMag has multi year deal! I think Haas were in a bit of a tight spot, so kmag was in good negotiating position.

Imagine if Hass had been sold to Andretti, and they managed to slot Herta in to the car this year. I think we might just have seen something a little special.

Have to say, I actually think it’s really neatly done.

Actual car launch to follow later in Feb <ok>

I can't get excited about the livery, performance is what will matter.

It's being reported that Haas retains Magnussen and Hulkenberg for 2024!

Seems like a reasonable decision given the
options available. Good sign that they don't feel they need a Mazepin 2.0 to keep them afloat.

    Changes at Haas...

    • Team Principal - Guenther Steiner's contract has not been extended. He will be replaced by Director of Engineering, Ayao Komatsu
    • Technical Director - Simone Resta has left, apparently following disagreement around technical direction going forward.

I wonder whether this is a 'one last roll of the dice' situation and whether the team will still be called Haas in 5 years time.

Guenther is gone!!!!! I used to love him being interviewed and when he was on the pit wall. He was a great character. Hopefully it will be the right decision for the team but I do hope Guenther is back in F1 soon.

He was entertaining to watch, but Steiner always struck me as a terrible leader. Endlessly shouting and seemed more interested in how to cash in on Netflix fame than helping the team.

Not that i see much ambition from Gene Haas either. You do wonder if this is a prelude to selling up. One way to get Andretti in without upsetting FOM.

There’s still a vacancy at Alpine, but I don’t see Steiner being a good fit for an OEM, he’d be perfect for Alpha Tauri, so that’s something to keep an eye on.

Agreee that this seems like the beginning of the end for Haas…

I used to really look forward to Guenther on the pit wall interviews too.

I always thought that he would have been good to have taken over at Ferrari when Binotto left,as he would have grabbed the team by the scruff of the neck and really shaken them up,which is what they need.
