Word on the street (wind street) is its gonna be around £7m plus add on's I could live with that TBH. Goals from midfield is a crucial part of our game that was lacking in the early part of the season
That's breaking the amount I'd favour to be honest. £7M is about the max but add-ons could be a deal breaker in my book as it could take the fee stratospherically high. I'd prefer around £5M plus a reasonable sell on %. Then again, we've got to assume that the Board knows its limits.
I'd prefer we didn't go above £7m - as long as we have enough cash to secure another class centre back and another striking option, I'm happy.
cant see jinks paying £7 million when he only wanted to pay £4.5 million. He would have a nervous breakdown paying £2.5 mill extra........£5 mill maximum and if no go then look elsewhere...It's not worth the hassle as there is no way he would get the freedom he had in the beginning for us as we have seen in the last batch of games where he was closed down to good effect.....thats probably why jinks thinks he is only worth £4-4.5 mill to us.....i agree with his valuation and stick to our limit.....there are plenty of players out there on the continent who we could attract for a quarter of the price....
