If VDV really wants to go then by all means let him but I do worry Levy still doesn't see the extra value in us keeping older players like VDV and Parker, only seeing their ability to command a fee decrease.
Is Levy really that desperate for the cash though, I mean assuming Modric goes (sick of him being a tart) then that's £30m+, is flogging VDV really a viable option when you would make £10m-£12m tops?
He preferred the option of buying Diarra for about £15mill than Parker for £5mill last summer so I wouldn't put it past him.

Hope VdV stays for a couple more season too. If we do get Gilfi then working with VdV will be a great help to him.

I think we have just done a great bit of business in signing gylfi sigurdsson if the reported £8 million fee is right when u think what we have spent that kind of money on before this guy looks a player to me young lots of energy (which sometimes we lack!!) and he can score a goal as we all know!
