    Swamp is crippled by Swansea's success,and Siggy is part of that.

    Ok swamp you may be right but at the end of the day you can only go with what you see, and currently from how he is performing at swansea then he is worth the risk to me. Id pay the fee for him from what i have seen....but yes you might be right he may be a flash in the pan,....i doubt it though....

    he's playing very well at the moment but i think his form will tail off, just an opinion.

    also, just because i 'criticize' a swansea player does not mean i am a snake in the grass or whatever, and no i'm not crippled by swansea being in the premiership at all, every dog has its day...

    But what is the opinion based on? We can say he's a decent player because he's been player of the season at Reading, then at Hoffenheim and has now caught the eye at Swansea.

    Saying he's a flash in the pan because that's just your opinion doesn't really cut it and you do come across as biased.

    yes, its a hunch, the same one i had about spurs being lucky to finish in the top 4 when they were 10 points clear of 4th, and that steve kean will see blackburn survive.

    well we'll find out if i'm right or wrong next season, whichever club he pitches up at <ok>

    well we can now forget signing siggs as his club wont sell him for less than £10 million. that is to much for us as i would rather buy two £5 million players or even three, now the club can concentrate on finding replacements...

    Sigurdsson scored loads of goals in the league Cardiff currently occupy. He then had a big money move to a decent team in a different country and managed to excel for an entire season there. Barring some crazy circumstances the first half of the season he'd have seen some more game time and we probably wouldn't have got him, but we did and he's excelled again. I make that 2 1/2 excellent seasons and the only time he wasn't excellent was when he wasn't in the team, which wasn't really for footballing reasons.

    Flash in the pan? Maybe people should look up the meaning of that phrase? Peter Whittingham scored loads of goals one year, what's he doing now?

    In the Championship? So what? Sigurdsson proved he can do it in that league, has proven he can do it in Germany and so far has done nothing but prove he's easily good enough for the Premiership. Apparently 7 PL teams are now chasing him, but I'm sure they'd all change their mind once they've heard you reckon he's a "flash in the pan".

    Ah, Cardiff's resident Neil-out-of-The-Young-Ones has arrived. <doh>

    I think most fans (not just Swansea's) thought it was just a tad unfair that you tried to buy your way out of the lower leagues with 8 loanees (7 of which were Prem) and managed to get a deal on Bellamy which still beggars belief. The fact it was perfectly legal <grr> doesn't make it fair. How did that work out for you btw? <laugh>

    We have TWO loanees. Hardly the same now is it? Even through the heavy clouds of ganja smoke that addle your brain (what's left of it) you probably see the point.

    <ok>

    McEachran's a boot polisher - does he really count. Pretty ineffective whenever he's played.
