Great spot, BJ: (that sounds bad)

I'm loving the negativity coming out of Hoffenheim.

Also note the quote re wages....Hoffenheim saving 2.5 mill euro by loaning the two players out. assuming both are paind equally I recon Siggy must be on £2 mill a year. Would that sit pretty with our squad?

My guess is the Swans willl probably have more players on that sort of money next season anyhow (assuming we stay up)... so buy the man!

I read it as they are saving 2.5M Euros total by sending out both players. That means he's on about £1M a year I think. Players like Sinclair and Graham are already on that or thereabouts I should imagine.

That's about £20k per week. Anyone know what our wage structure is these days?

Damn! Should have refreshed before submitting. Now I just look like I've plagiarised Musty.

Apparently DG is collecting 25k a week, the limit is 20k with the rest Made up in bonuses.
Not sure if its fact but sounds about right to me, he is on the limit of what we pay along side a few others

I dont Think it would be anywhere near that, maybe in the championship but not the prem.

I Think There Will be about 4-5 players on the highest money, ive heard 20k but without looking into players contracts its impossible to say.
Signing on fees, bonuses for apearances, goals, wins etc. There is alot of ways to top that figure to around 20k and over in some cases.

Truth is nobody really knows ;)

Jut catching up in this thread,
    1. Chris is a legend, only have walk in and he know who I am and exactly what I want, impressive of he can do that for most regulars!
    2. Siggs has undoubted talent, wages could be the only problem, it's not as if we can afford the free! You just don't want to pay one player substantially more than others, that's when people start to moan!
    3. He does appear to be exactly what Danny needs, to save him having games where he works his ass of with no supply at all!

you read part right... saving them 2.5m Euros for sending them out...there's only half a season left don't forget. I assumed that for a season that would double (and then divided by two aassuming they are on the same!)

If I was Sig would I rather play for Hamburg or would I rather play for Swansalona in the Premier League (providing we stay up?

I think the Premier League might just do it for me.
