Whatever the reasons he went and even if it was just Bruce and not money, Gyan dropped us fans in the the shat in August as well, not just Bruce. Don't forget that lads.

Personally, I do not want to see the ****er back at the SOL in a Sunderland shirt under any circumstances. I don't think Mon will either. Disrupting players in the dressing room are not his way.

You can't lay everything at Bruce's door. The only person who made Gyan look like a twat to quote your parlance was Gyan himself, by opting to play in a mickey mouse league for top dollar.

well he looked like a twat playing under Bruce as it was his barca formation of 4=5=1 but with no wingers, that produced the **** football and playing players out of position is no ones fault but his.
 
We will have to agree to differ on this one Roger, i value loyalty and bottle, Gyan showed neither of these qualities irrespective of Bruce's tactics. At the end of the day he was never played Gyan other than as a striker, which is what he is.

sorry mate but a striker without feeds is like a cock without pussie its never gonna work out is it. and we could always sell him for 15mill plus and buy better after all hes still ours so put him in the window for top dollar

He's not that good anyway, wouldn't score 20 in a season playing sunday league...That's probably about the same level to the league he's in now, just rougher.

Hang on a minute, Comm. He didn't come on stream till October. So he scored 11 in 7.5 months with the type of service and support you get off Cattermole, Meyler and Henderson. Defoe isn't scoring many more than that in 9 months with the support he gets at Tottenham!

I think Gyan would do much better in front of Larsson, Vaughan and Sess than he did last year, and I would welcome him back.

Just don't see him as a main striker mate, if he was to play alongside as a 2nd striker he may be a decent decoy...

But if we're gonna get another striker, i'd be more inclined to get rid of Gyan and keep Bendtner..


Plus i don't think he should be coming back anyway...
 
If I remember correctly Gyan had only good things to say about the club BUT some veiled negative comments about how he was ignored day-in-day-out by Bruce. I'm not ready to pull the trigger on him yet, I might think it was a ****ty decision but when you're in the middle of a situation it's often hard to take a balanced or long term view.

He would get a second chance from me.
 
Leave him to rot in UAE league 1 or whatever they call it. Not bothered if it was Bruce (which I don't think it was) he left us right in the clarts when he went and it'll take a hell of a lot to get me on his side anyway. He was crap all pre season and the games he played for us this season, his head had been turned and he took the cash, it's happened once it'll happen again.
Off load him when we can as soon as we can.

Couldnt agree more...regardless of who is our manager, Mr Gyan has ' cooked his goose ' as far as SAFC are concerned...besides he wouldnt want to leave his precious little £200000 (tax free) a week to come back to us now, would he ..lol

Not too sure about this ken. If he's talking about "our" club then why not? He may have gone because of Bruce. Who knows? Only him and Bruce really

MON is one of the best man managers around I recon getting Gyan onboard would not prove too difficult, regardless of what Gyan has done if this boy came back and produced the goods I for one will forgive him and suspect most safc fans would too.. I think he will be back sooner than we think.
 
I would bring him back anyway, if it doesnt work out at least he is back in the shop window and lets get the best money for him we can!
