No player can be transfered after the deadline or go on loan, only in emergency, and for teams who are unbelievably desperate they can sign Alan smith from Newcastle!. I think Gyan wants away now (by the reports in the press) what is his injury?.

I am gob smacked! Why can we not keep our strikers..come back KJ, Bent and Welbeck. SSN has said the 3 leading goal scorers for Sunderland have all left...We now have two young lads not proven in the EPL and a gooner reject as forwards.

I cannot say anything else I have to leave for the match...although I do wonder why I bother!

Manager Steve Bruce said: "Anyone who has seen Asamoah play will know that he hasn't been himself in recent months. This option suits all parties at the present time and the club is well-protected in the deal.

You mean he got sick of chasing ****ing hoof balls?

Looking back there prob isn't an injury, just a smokescreen to cover the impending move

Gyan by a long way. At least Bent moved to a decent club it a very good league. Gyan has gone to play in the desert for a bunch of nobodies just for cash, ****.

Holey moley! What is going on? All those 'no smoke without fire' rumours were true then. Do you think Bruce and him had a row about his fitness and manner in last few games? How does Asa think his game will improve playing in the middle east for god's sake. The EPL is the best league in the world to prove yourself.

If ever we needed convincing, this just shows what mercenaries most footballers are these days.

Anyway I am just off to the SoL. Let's get our season started and show the team (of players who want to be there) what Sunderland supporters are all about!

The thing is mate, alhough you can't blame Bruce for Gyan wanting to move, you can question why we haven't replaced him

Reuters are reporting a 7 million loan fee il try and dig out the link folks. Well TBH Iam not surprised, just surprised at the club hes going to. The dark powers have been whispering in his ear since the England game and to be quite frank if he dosent want to play for us then he can F*** off !!. Just not sure how the hell we re going to replace him, can only assume that wel land someone like Pav in January, trouble is we might be well and truly in the clarts by then

How can this be totally out of the blue? This mornings papers are full of Bruce saying he's going nowhere and the "Parasite" agents are at fault. Now we have pictures of him in the new strip!

This isn't a Bruce out shout. I am heartfelt sick at so-called professional footballers shafting my club.

He's **** anyway to be fair. Well he's inconsistent and erratic. Reminds me of Oba Martins for us. If you've got a good loan fee and get a decent amount for him next summer it's a good deal to be honest.
