why is a turkey.......

Hamburg have confirmed Premier League interest in defender Guy Demel.

Demel is under contract at imtech Arena until next summer, however, he could leave Germany in the next few days.

New football chief Frank Arnesen told BILD: "There are a couple of clubs in England that are keen on Guy. A transfer of Guy may become a fact by Sunday."

Demel has been a long-term target for Sunderland boss Steve Bruce.
