Este, after everything that's happened this season, I'd be really happy with 12th place. Seriously. For a start, it would mean that we hadn't gone into administration!
The majority of them don't get done for taxes because they are aware of the rules and find loopholes. This guy just straight up doesn't pay them. He's demonstrated several times that he pays no attention to rules. This would be to the detriment of Leeds when those rules result in points deductions when broken. He already almost got us a points deduction and would have if someone hadn't stepped in and made sure Trabanelli or whatever his name was wasn't in the squad.
After 11 years outside the top flight some are happier than others about sitting 14th in the table getting thrashed by 6 goals and playing a style of football that is uncreative and going nowhere while some of us demand more and can see that giving McDermott another 2 years in the job would make no difference. McDermott has shown too many times this season with decisions selections and results he isn't the man to take us forward. Put it this way, imagine we lose 3 out the next 4 then what, we still say keep him and risk relegation?
We're not happy with it we're just not stupid enough to think that sacking the manager and getting a new one is going to fix it.
Loopholes designed by the rich for the benefit of the rich, doesn't make them any different Didn't we try to sign Trabanelli or whatever on deadline day but was too late, or he was refused a permit, (wonder why, is it cos we is Leeds?) so he was never gonna play, so its a bit over the top to say we were gonna be docked points
After 11 years out of the Prem, with every year some fans demanding that "this is the year we have to get promoted otherwise we will never get prmoted" leads to upset fans who expect too much. What we need is a period of stability - that we have not yet had - so that we can build a way of playing and a squad to possibly be in contention for promotion in 2 or 3 years' time. If it happens through a one-season wonder, first it will be complete luck, and second it will only be temporary as the foundations will be made of quicksand.
Fine if some need another year to see we are going nowhere under McDermott and that he is no better than Warnock so be it. I take it those asking for stability were upset when Warnock got sacked?
