He doesn't say that anywhere. In fact I've read direct quotes saying he wants no more than three and only buying quality. Wtf are the Northern Echo on? 
It wouldn't surprise me if, other than buying a new out-and-out striker, he still gets Borini despite the way he shunned us.
Well, if Poyet goes back in for Borini then the bloke is a ****ing mug. very much doubt we sign a out and out forward like.
There are plenty of very good out and out strikers who would come for Premier League wages.
The irony is, that we will have to score goals this month so we don't look like a relegation-threatened side in order to attract them

Centre back on a permamant, Additional left back on loan And a versatile quick forward who can play across the front 3 on loan thats my guess.

I have said it before and will say it again with regards to the left back spot. We should go for Martin Olsson at Norwich. I would be shocked if they wanted more than 2.5m for him and IMO he would be worth it. PVA needs competition and this lad has plenty of Premier League experience, is only 26 year old and has pace! Something which we lack. Seb could put in a good word as well lol
as for the other 3 then I think the other domestic loan will take either the centre half or the winger spot. Kurt Zouma (Chelsea) Mohamed Salah (Chelsea) or Joel Campbell (Arsenal) would be a great addition for us. If I could pick one I think I would go with Zouma 2bh. Big, strong and quick. Him next to O'Shea at CB would be good.

I cant see Ings coming here as weve nailed our colours to the mast I think with Wickham. I can see him going to the mags or Villa if they cash in on Benteke.
