Thing is even if we did loan someone in it would have to have been an overseas player. So we still would have had that 'bedding in' period, but as we've said all over the board, we needed someone to bring an instant impact. It's all lose-lose, I blame Bruce.
should have waited until the end of season with him ,he got himself fit after a bad injury scored on his return and was getting near enough back to his pre injury status, hes still one of the quickest in the prem at this moment in time, what we would give for him now to be in our ranks
Still wouldn't have helped the wage bill. As much as I rated the lad he would never keep us up on his own. If only we could shifted the likes of Gards and Seb, we could have had the freedom to bring in a bit of quality.
the wage bill is for accountants and such like to manipulate in their honest ways, ut hum , how does this leave the likes of utd with £300,000 being talked about on one player a week and all the others also on the bill ,utd are running at a loss are they not, city must also be up to the gunnells as well as others ,where will this leave all of these when the man comes around ?
It's based around turnover fella, United's is the biggest in the world, Citih's is tiny in comparison which is why United are in a better position for the ffp rules. United's debts are massive you're right, the way they've set up these ffp rules is backwards I know.
i wager that when the implications come about the rules will change to suit the bigger clubs or they threaten to vito or sue in some way , is there any club in the prem which is by turnover definition solvent if this playing field is going to be leveled in this manner we will never compete because who is going to play for a club who offers no wage comparison to others, how can you play in the big boys league without the big boy wages.
**** know fella. Ellis Short is one of the main players in this too(in terms of club owners involvement).
Long was 99.9% signed in August until either WBA pulled out at the last minute or our crazy owner tried to screw them over the price. The fact we got long at the second attempt was probably cause Albion changed their manager or they needed the cash. WBA loss is Hulls gain and could be the difference in which division both teams play in. As regards Fletcher I was trying to say he is/was not worth £12m. So both those deals could have got you 2 or 3 half decent strikers. If you add Graham in, that's another £5m. All these deals were done after Bruce.
I have no idea what a search site facility is. I looked at the thread being about Jose and read the comments. As he used to play for us I was interested.
.search.yahoo.com_UEFA_Financial_Fair_Play_Regulations looking at this we are under no threat from punishment at all ,the huge numbers of the bigger clubs who are in massive negative equity is an eye opener ,the worst case senario is a player ban in a euro competition ,nothing for us to worry about there then is there. A MIND BOGGLING SUBJECT AND THE FIGURES MENTIONED ARE CRAZY FOR ANY INDUSTRY NEVER MIND FOOTBALL
We are not even on the same page are we there is no threat its unworkable ,as soon as fifa tries to implement anything the clubs will revolt and turn the table over because without the big big boys the game is over
