I really dont like him. Waving cards at officials, losing in bad grace. Horrible little t0sser. Cant wait to crush him again. That is all....
Must have felt strange for him on Wed. Sitting through the whole match and not getting sent off. Little to$$er.
Quite simply jealous... Out classed both games in league 1.. Had we beaten them at st marys, we would of won the league
Brighton were exceptional last year, but found it hard to take that, win title or not, they were not the best team in league. Could make competition between us tasty this season as we probably won't get much competition from Pompey this season (that should please Godders).
I always liked Poyet until his totally unprovoked anti-Saints rants. That said, he seems like a well balanced individual - he has a chip on both shoulders!
It wasn't totally unprovoked, it seems it all stemmed from this comment from Adkins: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkQqT6e_y5A Having said that, you would have thought Poyet might have let it go after beating us to the title. It's a shame because I do have a lot of time for Brighton as a club, just find it absurd that Poyet is still bitter about that one comment
Poyet carries a grudge because of one comment from one of nicest guys on the management circuit. Nigel always praises other clubs, but Poyet took every subsequent remark as patronising. Don't know what happened at Brighton, but Nigel made some remark about lack of class. Like Brighton to do well as along as they are always behind us! Both clubs in Prem would suit me fine.
I liked Poyet as a player, and now that he's managing Brighton he won't bother me for 44 games of the year. I respect him as a manager. Yes, he has that same hatred of losing, that he can't hide, like Ferguson, like Wenger, etc... and that's a downer. He's definitely a bit short on good grace. Unfortunately, the record books don't put a little asterisk next to the manager's name to describe how they reacted to a match, trophy, championship, when it was won. They just record it. Poyet will undoubtedly add to his CV. Although they haven't been quite as impressive as Saints, Brighton are still sitting there with a 100% record too. Like him or not, he gets teams to play well.
