You can also see the passion from Dave Jones. You can see he's buzzing atm as well which is great to see because he will know everything that is going on behind the scenes now and is clearly delighted with what he sees.

    Poyet heads to Chile
Former Sunderland manager Gus Poyet has been appointed head coach of Chilean club Universidad Catolica for the 2021 season.
The club announced Poyet’s arrival on their official website and the Uruguayan replaces Ariel Holan, who departed UC earlier in the month to take over at Brazilian giants Santos.
Juan Tagle, club president, was very happy to announce his club had reached an agreement with such a well-travelled coach and is confident Poyet will be a success in Chile:
"We are very happy to have reached an agreement with a technician with the trajectory of Gustavo. As a club we have made the effort to have coaches with an important journey and who can give a plus to a team that has just been three-time champion and be a contribution to our league.
We believe that he has the capacity to do it and to be successful in the challenges that come locally and internationally."

Doubt it. Gus was always very much wanting things done exactly how he wanted and iirc didn’t trust anyone else’s judgment when it came to players. He wouldn’t have fitted with the business model KLD has brought to the club and he knew that. Still lost $50 on the bastard when he was “going to be announced” though.

The National Chilean League is arguably better than League One - certainly the skill level of the players is a lot higher.
If he'd gone to Everton or Wanderers I'd be questioning his motives $$$ but the Universidad Católica are a good club and are probably looking towards the Copa Libertadores.

I personally think the cup final season was the most memorable in my lifetime. I've seen us at Wembley every time since 1985 (and yes, I include that dreadful mercantile credit classic event!) but, as a season for memories, I can't think of one which stands out more
