TOO many match results are being decided by inept refereeing and the sooner we get Video replays (only for red cards/penalties) the better.
It would be nice to know what it's like to be on the achieving end of these poor decisions, we always seem to be on the receiving end
The League Cup was a distraction, a nice distraction but we were never going to win the thing and proved we can cut it against the best . We still have the FA cup to look forward to and a promotion push . If I posted this after the Millwall game I would have quite rightly been sectioned. Bring on Derby county
Every club has its fair share of idiots.... http://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/news...ogogo-claim/ar-AAu2dqO?li=BBoPWjP&ocid=HPCDHP
Walking away from the ground last night even the arsenal fans were saying we should have won! They were very impressed by maddison and Murphy. Gutted by the equaliser, but very proud of the lads. Fantastic support as always
Yes, we may have been 'cheated' out of victory over Arsenal, but the unity between the players and the fans that has been lacking in recent years seems to been firmly re-established and that can only be a good thing going forward - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/united-spirit-continues-to-grow-at-norwich-1-5252015 Yes, there will be blips along the way, but I'll be very surprised if we slip far outside the play-offs and we have certainly over-achieved, as I didn't expect us to make it into the top 6 until Xmas
Arsenals second goal was rightly from a corner. The ball was over the goal line before arcing back into the field of play. But Elneny would have been sent off by the majority of refs, and we had a stonewall penalty at the end, not given. Wenger said that our defence was excellent, just hope he thought Maddison was rubbish.
The replay didn't convince me that all of the ball crossed the line for the corner the first foul on Nelson was a red card by any stretch of the imagination and the Penalty shout would of been given if an Arsenal player was fouled. Overall I was proud of the guts and style the boys showed and not overly disappointed to not be in the next round. I would rather 3 points on the board .
I thought it would take longer for the new squad to gel and for the new players to adjust and even moreso after Millwall. The key lay in the work done in the international break after that. Trybull, Tettey and Stiepermann came in and others responded to the new formation. Arsenal never looked likely to score from open play and that speaks volumes about the defensive improvement. Just hope our players will have recovered physically by Saturday.
Exactly RER (I've got a ticket for the Lower Barclay on Saturday and I'm in the South Stand for Tuesday!!) and I've a feeling that the first goal will be critical.
