Never been more shattered after a day of work (and three hours of commuting). Thought I'd just check in to torment Dan about what he has in store if he follows my example. I really want to go to bed but I'm like 80% sure I'll be woken up by a phone call from my mate's drunk girlfriend. This **** is not right.

 

It's cool, it's either that or work a 6 day week with purely performance based pay. Also put your phone on silent.

 

Madrid are blowing it.

 

I know this sounds crazy, but have you considered turning your phone off?

Unfortunately I kinda have to take the call. And yeah, there's not a lot of choice, but for the love of god don't do it for longer than is necessary. And pray for a nice one where you can slack off without people noticing. if my experiences are anything to go by, there's about a 50/50 chance of it.

Oh and **** buses.

 

**** that. If my phone went off in the night and it wasn't a matter of life and death I would be telling the person on the other end of the line to **** off.

 

I'm sure there are some circumstances in which you wouldn't. Anyway, I'm not going to be happy about it if it's after midnight. Not gonna stay awake that long, but for now I need some entertainment of some sort.

 

Just applied for my student finance loan. Super excited to be in 9 grand in debt at the age of 18! Woooooo.

Was it easy or was it like trying to find the clitoris? Because I (and pretty much everyone else for that matter) always found it to be some kind of dark art to apply for it. Even now I'm suffering from massive incompetence on the part of Student Finance NI/my uni, who believe I'm no longer part of my course and are witholding about £2000 in student loan from me, plus tuition fees for this term.

 

This isn't really a case of me being a good friend. But yeah I am anyway. She did hook me up recently so that's a sort of payment.

 

I know you've said there's lots of things you've not said here Joe, but from an old fart, just please be careful keeping your emotions close with this one. You don't *have* to do anything. Please take care.
