I don't understand how people can listen to music on repeat like that without getting sick of it. My most annoying housemate had a strange mix of rap music interspersed with occasional Dido. And he'd sing along. The sound of him singing "Life For Rent" very badly in an Indian accent is never leaving my head.

 

Guy across the hall from in halls played Toploader incessantly. I retaliated with Whigfield.

 

My Law class is directly above the Music class, it's so annoying! They're moving the Music department soon though.

 

Khan talking about fighting Mayweather even before he has had his fight with Callazo..... I see his ego hasn't changed.

 

Although I don't mind listening to music when I am giving it my full attention, I hate background music at home or in public places...it actually irritates me. I never have music on...Sky Sports is the permanent background to my home life.

 

When living in nurses accomodation during the 80s I initiated a revenge by music incident by placing the 12" version of Jeffrey Osborne's "Stay with me tonight (great cheesy bassline)" on repeat, vol up to 11, and going out for an evening of drink. This was revenge for the girl downstairs playing "I Want To Know What Love Is" by Foreigner 50 bloody times in a row. Wrecked my stylus but worth it for quiet that was mine to enjoy for months after.

The only mistake your chappie made was it should've been "Live in London" by Amon Duul II, that would place you in a delightfull trance after the third time round.

 

In fairness Khan might be about the only person that could give Mayweather a decent fight currently (discounting Manny) - FM is all about slipping punches and not getting hit, and Khan's pace could well trouble Floyd (as long as he himself doesn't get caught).

I think FM and his advisers know it too, particularly after last night, so I doubt it will happen.

I just don't like how Khan picks easy fights then wins and thinks he is god. Then fights a proper boxer and gets smashed. He can't be as bad as Broner tho, the **** he said last night was disgusting.

 

We had one of my housemates while he was with his last girlfriend play loud music to cover up sex noises. It didn't work for many reasons, such as she was so loud, the music was so bass-y that I could feel the vibrations at the other end of the house, and he also did it during exam time. Needless to say that exam period they were together sucked for me.

The same song, two days in a row. Really? Thankfully they shut it down at about 10 last night so it didn't disturb my sleep but it's back to slowly tearing away at my sanity. How can you humanly listen to the same song for two ****ing days in a row with only a break to sleep, arghhhhhhh.

 

What song? Some one sounds madly depressed.

 

I dunno, I can't hear it clearly enough to get any lyrics, can only really hear the bassline. Sounds like he's just got a subwoofer hooked up too loud.

 

Knowing songs like that, they probably don't have lyrics.
