I believe Archers Road was trying to satirize the kinds of people who would say something like that without jest. It was pretty clear in context.
guly was pure class yesterday when he came on. people who boo him are unfortunately too stupid to understand what he brings to the team. also some of them are probably racist, but the good news is they're a dying breed.
There was booing yesterday from very few and it makes really angry. Guly became a target early last season and there were plenty on here as well who jumped on the Guly bashing bandwagon, not to say they were booing him at matches. But this sort of thing is common behavior for some fans and not just Saints fans, where a certain player is targeted and groaned at for any mistake he makes. I'm astounded though on this thread that posters are attributing this behavior as rascist. Thats rubbish!! Fans of ALL teams give certain players stick. Christ I remember Terry Paine and Franny Benali getting merciless stick in certain periods of their Saints careers and now they're both legends.
I don't think the guys behind me who get on Guly's back are racist as they react to Fox in exactly the same way.
