if the gulls beat spires tonight or draw this gives shrews a vested interest as it will make the shakers really up for it when they play wobblers as the shakers will have an ace chance of going up champions and if we beat cheltenham and or oxo they may just take the shrews with them. oh wibble wobble, oh how much pressure is there in the wobblers dressing room. do not slip on the hartleys. in the meantime the shrews go marching down to cheltenham spa for a spot of la di da 2-0 shrews
Optimistic as I am after our Crewe victory, this is what worries me: 1. We have injury problems 2. I'll be surprised if Shrewsbury can't manage 4 points from their last 2 games, which means we must not lose against Bury. It would be no surprise if Shrewsbury won both their games in which case we must beat Bury on Saturday. If I had to bet on third place, I would have to put my money on Shrewsbury; and then hope that I lost it.
the shakers are probably the best thing since sliced hovis- mothers pride!. and they eat jelly with everything!
Ron.. That is exactly the way I see things pan out. We could afford to draw our final game & go up on goal difference. Thems being the goals Matty Harrold has scored, of course..
A draw tonight means we would at least be in the play-offs and Bury would still have much to play for.
We 're off to the Chateau tomorrow night Rocky. The owners have sold the place and we've been invited to a farewell party with free food and drink all night, Karaoke, magician, quiz. I don't normally drink much but if Wycombe win I will make an exception.
Who's better Tommy Lee or Jake Robinson? There's only one way to find out... (Probably Tommy Lee, top notch goalie)
free food and drink ........what times the next ferry....... have a good night ron.i wont be on here till late on saturday cos of the trip up to bury but hopefully we will both be celebrating by the time i get back
