To add to what charliej said, good keepers tend to have thick skins and can put bad performances behind them and move on. Unless you're Rob Green who, if what I hear is right, seems to have at least 1 calamity a game at the moment
How much have you seen of him in training? I always watch the players closely whilst they are warming up and Gulasci is always fumbling the ball when put through the shot stopping routine.
Fair play. You'll have a more reliable opinion than me then. Let's just hope he can turn it on for the West Ham game if Basso doesn't recover in time.
give the lad a chance for petes sake. IF Basso cannot play then lets give Gulacsi all the support we can. Moaning and groaning wont do him any good will it. There has been many weeks since his last game and who knows what he will be like now. Give him a chance - but its not something some City fans are prepared to do
I'd imagine there'll be a few sessions where it's everyone vs. Peter G and the back four. In order to drill them as a back five. If Basso isn't fit, the back five have to gel together.
I often watch the players warm up, particulary the attackers shooting at the end of the warm up. The standard of finishing in that exercise is absolute gash. It's a simple shot which in a game situation you'd expect them to score every time, but they mostly miss. I think there's very little effort put in those warm-ups, it's the only explanation I can think of anyway.
