I was driving to work dis morning and Solitary Man came on the radio and it took me a while to realise that it was Neil Diamond so got me thinking that's not a bad song and what else would people be afraid to admitting to liking? My guity pleasures would be:

Take That : I Want You Back (great harmonies)

Neil Diamond : Solitary Man

Glenn Campbell : Wichita Lineman

The Carpenters : too many to list,

leave it to you folks

This is not a guilty pleasure , this is the greatest song ever written <grr>

I like to put my knob on the toilet bowl and slam the lid down.

Neil Diamond is one of the greatest songwriters ever!!!!

Anyway, guilty pleasures include....

Sparks
Pet shop boys
Scott Walker

I like to watch the video for Gina G's Oooh Aaah Just A Little Bit and pretend it is a guilty pleasure but actually I'm getting wood watching the brunette dancer in the mini-dress. Check it out and you'll see what I mean.

Correct. You are clearly very wise, O’Toon, although I can’t say that I’ve ever once felt guilty or embarrassed about liking any kind of music. (Where’s the point?)

And the video? Five innocent young lads singing and dancing in an atmospheric rain as droplets of water splash and drip from their eyelashes and boyish lips, soaking their clothes and emphasing the muscaluture of their lithe bodies and gently accentuating the bouyancy of their eager, youthfully elastic thighs. Great song. Great, great song.

Still fancy them now they're middle-aged?
