Was just listening to Talk Sport in the car and they are reporting that the board have lost patience with Guidolin and he could be gone by the end of the week.

I'm worried about this simply because of all the reports about Bradley coming here. If Landon Donavon becomes his second then we're in more trouble than if Guidolin stays imo. Jobs for the boys??

As I said earlier, wouldn't surprise me with know all Yanks in charge, it happened at Villa and Liverpool and can see it happening here. They just always think they are right even though they have zero experience. How could they possibly know if Bradley is up to it. they have to listen to the people who have more of an idea about what is wanted for the Pl. Not so sure they will.

The other problem is they obviously listened to HJ about the last appointment and look how that worked out. So no wonder they doubt his judgement.

not much in there to substantiate it.

Cant see Jenkins letting Guidolin go until we finish playing our harder fixtures . He will want the new manager ( If there is one ) to have an easier beginning to his reign with less scary teams , probably after Man U . Then Jenkins will have a better chance of showing the rank and file that he ,appeared, to make the right move much... like he sacked Laudrup after all the tough teams were played and everyone was back to full health .Huw is an easy read .

Out of the frying pan into the fire springs to mind with rookie Giggs and an unknown from the USA......Now if they said Klinsman then ok he has experience but i would still prefer someone who has premiership experience and knows how to fire up the players...

Roof, disagree re Jenkins and definitely re Laudrup but not going back there, its history now.

It would be dumb to get rid of Guidolin before the Arsenal game but even dumber to get rid of him at all if Bradly and Donovan, sounds like a couple of big brother z-lebs to me, are the alternative.

Took Hull down 2 years ago

Was shafted by the owners if I remember rightly, tigergate and all that. Had nothing to work with and wasn't allowed to make signings, thinks that's how it went down but stand to be corrected.

Now i'm thinking about it, his teams did play a bit of hoofball, Birmingham, Wigan, Sunderland, Hull :undecided:

Second thoughts Taff, I'll change my mind, maybe he's not for us after all.

Ha ha the irony of it

Taking a club down bares nothing about his ability at all.....Plenty have had relegations but are still good managers with other clubs....Bruce has done very well as a manager and has not done well also, It depends on the circumstances at the time....Im not saying we should go for him im saying we could do a lot worse and we have at times....

Be careful what you wish for thats all I can say . ..............

I agree Matt a bit of careful thought needs to happen here. In my view Guido has to be given at least till the end of Octoober.
Looking at the fixtures December is the month when we need to be picking up points with a potential 9 - 11 points assuming we lose at Spurs and possibly draw our two away games

Giggs, nice trustworthy guy, just ask his brother!

If he joins and has any success he will be off as soon as anyone came knocking!
