Not seen you for a while dude, welcome back, if indeed you ever left <ok>

Just thinking about myself, as usual, I don't think I'm belly aching about Guidolin at all. I'm saying what I see and I see that, under Guidolin, we are a faint shadow of the team we used to be.

My thinking is that Guidolin is here because of a microbe and not because of his talent. Last season we were as poor under his stewardship as we are today. We were dross until Guidolins chest infection saved us and took him out of the picture. Until then we were destined for the drop until Curtis took over and Guidolin lucked out big time.

To get us back on track, all Curtis did was to take us back to the familiar by re-adopting the styles, formations and tactics our team was built for. The skill sets, physical and mental attributes our team have, then and now, per-disposes them to play and excel at a certain style of play, lets call that style the Swansea Way. We all know it and our players are built for it. Yet Guidolin is taking us away from the familiar and is forcing the Udenese way upon us. If its not broke why fix it.

One style is completely different to the other. If he tried to adapt his Udenese squad to play the Swansea way he'd have similar issues and similar results I'm sure.

Its like Lego, you'd be a fool to expect to build an amazing lego car with pieces of a lego boat, there's no wheels for starters. But, imo, Guidolin is trying to do this, he is trying to implement the Udenese way with Swansea way pieces.

Guidolin is beating square pegs into round holes with a discipline hammer. Regardless of what Leon says, imo, the time is coming fast when the squad will begin to implode, dissension will become the norm and any player with a value will want to leave. Guidolin has to go now, it'll be too late if we wait for that nightmare to shake us awake, by then we could have lost everything already

We gave him his chance and he's blown it already, he has to go.

i signed up because of team , not the supporters stupid.Acertain amount of the Swan fan base want to pay nothing for players, sell them for a fortune and not only win games but win them a certasin way . Ive watched a lot of bellyaching over 5 seasons of success without spending , of course the bellyaching will magnify with a bit of trouble .Nothing personal about the people who support the Swans , only the way a certain group seem to think they have entitlement to wishes. Ive accumulated a certain fan base on this forum that I lean on every word and know I can count on their opinions as close the truth ... you aint one of them by a long shot.

Weren't you advocating buying cheap and then selling them on for a profit. I apologise if you didn't say that but I am sure you did.

It is ignoring the players that could have been ideal for us when the window first opened and going bargain basement for the last couple of seasons has resulted in us being a team going forward to a team an the slide.

Is there any need to get personal because someone disagrees with your viewpoint roof?

I like to find gems , then sell them after they've proved themselves and want to leave .A good % of the Swan base want players to come to us , proven players , on the cheap and only allow them to leave at a crazy price .Bony comes in at 12 million and everyone was upset we sold him at 25 million when they think we should have got more .Montero comes in at 4 million , and that same fan base want 20 million for him at one time .Michu , 2 million and some want 20 million for him at one time .And valley , you wanted to spend 30 million on Bony and Allen ....how are they and Stoke doing ...

Lots of reports that Ryan Giggs is on his way here.

    Great news if true imo.

Please no not Giggs, another who had a little go at Man Utd and looked out of his depth. He would have been way down my list, Just because of his name and playing career doesn't mean he will make a manger. Foe me out of the frying pan and into the fire. For all that can he be any worse than Guidolin.

Just read that and that is a big concern that the ****ing idiot yanks who have no experience of PL football, don't want him sacked yet and hope he will revive the team. If you actually came here and watched the **** we are watching and paid some little bit of interest in your club you would see he was hopeless and should be sacked. I worry about these yanks.

Probably just a press chow down but if true it would be so good for us in so many ways if it happened.

The move would hit the club like a sun ray through a storm cloud. The media attitude towards us would instantly change. Instead of reporting on our dour walk to the gallows they'd have so much more to write due to Giggs's legendary status. It would be like changing their diet from bread and cold water to a slap up Sunday dinner with so much gravy they'd need a bowl not a pate to eat it from.

The media would be so hungry for Giggs that wherever he landed they'd follow. The interest and media coverage of Giggs appointment would be world wide.

The coverage would create huge Commercial opportunities the club could exploit. We'd make a small fortune on shirt sales alone, add commercial sponsorship deals, new interest from new fans. Just think of the players who'd want to come here to play and all because of a football legend called Giggs.

Its a no brainer surely? Not to our Owners if reports are to be believed. It so worrying that Jenkins pushed for this move and the Owners blocked it. According to reports they don't think Guido has had enough time yet. Obviously they are not paying attention and haven't taken into account last year, he's had plenty of time to show what he can do, which to be fair to him, he has. Unfortunately his time here has shown that he can do fekk all with us. Just how naive are our new owners? or are they just plain thick?

If this doesn't happen for us very soon then it never will, imo. There's far too many interested parties already who's managers are high up in the sack race along with Guidolin. Hughes, Bilic, Pulis and many more are in line for the push so if we don't move soon for Giggs someone else will. West Ham are favorite imo, they have money to burn right now, more than any one else in the sack race and Gold wont Balk at any given chance to make money. If he can do simple Arithmetic, and I think he can, then he can work out that he can make more money through Giggs than he can through Bilic. I think we got two weeks if this is going to happen.

Stumpy when you put it that way Giggs makes sense, I am just more worried about his ability to be a manager. As for the yanks what is the point of having someone with experience in the Pl and English football, if you are not prepared to listen, the same happened at Liverpool under Gillett and hicks and at Villa with Learner. A big worry.

Some on here will see it as a positive that the Yanks blocked Jenkins. I think any manager we appoint at this stage will be a gamble and if we are in the financial position Jenkins says it won't be a big name.

You are right it isn't a gamble keeping Guidolin, we all know exactly what we will get with him relegation, but if we do employ someone else it is a gamble that we may stay up.
