Bielsa has said that the key thing with a player is that he has to *want* to stay. If Raph wants to go, he'll let him. Given Bielsa has been cited as a reason players wanted to come to us, we should be in a good place for retention and new transfers.
I'm hoping that if Bielsa wants to move on, he'll have contacts for a replacement and Radz and Orta will want someone similar who will build on Bielsaball.

If, and its a big if, we were offered 75-80 million say then best of luck to him in his future endeavours. As I have said I do not want him to go and I do not believe he will but the idea does not fill me with dread as it would have done in the past. This is down to the people running the club.
If we sold him for 75 million then 75 million would be reinvested in the squad. Not pocketed and then we are given a journeyman older player to try and get behind.

Hadn’t really thought about that but you’re right. The ultimate trust is in Radz because I think he genuinely wants to build what we want. Of course he gains if we end up with a successful side but it is vision rather than greed pushing it :emoticon-0148-yes:

Said it before, but like Radz has said we want to model ourselves on Leicester by growing into being a top 6 team over a few years. Leicester sell players for huge profits like Chilwell, Mahrez Slabhead etcand bring in better players for a lower cost because they have the scouting network and Orta

but the biggest benefit the club can have is from promoting from within by having a well run academy with exiting young local talent who are Leeds mad and want to play for the shirt

100% agree and thats why I am hoping that Drameh can be understudy to Ayling saving a bomb. Cresswell waiting to slot in behind Cooper, Koch Llorente and Struijk so we should not be buying another CB for years. Greenwood and Gelhardt could save a fortune if they can get some minutes this season. We also have another winger called Crysencio Summerville who is fast and skilfull. If any or al of these gets through to the first team the club will have saved a £100m in the transfer market

That's true, at least we have owner who have the club's best interests at heart and don't see it as just being a cash cow for them (Man Utd)

Furthermore, I think that if we were to get £75-85 million for Raphinha, I'd be more confident that we'd spend it better than the way Spurs squandered Madrid's mega millions for Modric and then Bale.
