Guest access?

Hello.
Why are you now not allowing guests to access anymore?
I'm sure myself like many others were happy to browse what was being discussed without feeling the need to join in.

It's something the site owner's aware of.

As far as I know it's a glitch rather than a policy, but it is getting more users registered, so it'll be interesting to hear what they have to say.

As well as the current issue being a glitch, it also happens intentionally at peak times (eg transfer deadline days) if the site is busy to ensure regular users access isn't harmed by the servers not being able to handle all the requests. And by busy I mean the site as a whole not any particular forum.
