    What's wrong with a referee's shirt? <grr> (Hint: I'm a referee ;))

I have a feeling that you wouldn't like it, whatever it was!

The sash kit was excellent. The Championship kit was good. Last season was poor. This season is terrible.

I judge them on their relative merits.

Personally, I still want traditional stripes and and I don't like red shorts, black would be better. I am still holding judgement until after the OS announcement.

I'm not so worried about the stripes - when I started supporting Saints in the 80's we didn't have any stripes until the early 90's - but it would be nice to at least keep the black shorts and white socks

I think the new red top would suit black shorts and white socks well. Would be different to any other team in the league too, wouldn't it?

It's a shame that isn't the away shirt because I think the template much better suits those colours. Would have definitely bought that!

Sorry, getting my wires crossed a bit.

Black shirt, white/silver detailing with the V, white round sleeve ends. Logos, crest etc still expected to be gold.

I had originally said silver logos etc but think I got the wrong end of the stick by 'detailing'.

This is rumoured to be Swansea's shirt for next season. I imagine our away kit to be the same but with the white and black the opposite way round.

That's also not Swansea's shirt. They've got the template, just like us.

I know it looks set to be the one with golden badges + sponsor, but this if we used this West Brom away top and swapped the black for white, I think it would look pretty smart.

This will surely happen in the coming years I'm sure.

A Newcastle shirt for the away shirt....?

Also, why is the WBA badge disappearing under their armpits?

No, have this template, and like I said swap the black for white so we have a red and white 3 stripe kit as our home shirt.

Oh, my bad for misreading. Personally I think Adidas' stripe shirts usually look naff.
