I was wondering when aap3 sponsorship ended...they have been very lucky as I believe they didn't pay much. We will want more for the PL. Shame....as i quite like the little smirk on the aap3 logo.
I like it too. Looks similar to the early 80's Air Florida/Rank Xerox kit, and that's no bad thing. I'd make the red sides close round to the front another inch on each side, making it even more so. please log in to view this image And don't bring back the collar either. Actually, could we just have the early 80's kit, sans collar, and be done with it..? Looks great.
Nothing announced yet, although they seem to be the popular choice. The quality of adidas kits is really good, which is a plus point for me, my shirt this year started having threads pulling out after the 1st wash, proper sweatshop quality to it.

The aap should be kept not as sponsorship but as someone else has already indicated it has come to stand for "Always Above Pompey".
Mine was like that, little white bobbles appearing everywhere, and the red is starting to come through the sponsorship logo. While I love Umbro designs, quality isn't always the best.
Noooo! Can't stand collars on football shirts. That is what I disliked most about the sash. Well that and the stupid sweat like a pig on a spit roast material. I like a lot of the designs people are coming up with, would like to see us go back to stripes though.
Our company received a business opportunity package from Southampton asking us if we wanted to be their main sponsor starting the 2013/14 season... I guess aap3 didn't work out or something?
I would be surprised if the choice of mainly red wasn't to do with the Asian market, coupled with bringing Lee to the club i thought it was a shrewd financial move by Cortese. I would expect similar next year.
Loving this effort. Would make sense to have a tribute to the Air Florida kit as next season will be the 30th aniversary of our most successful season ever.
Would love it if we signed a shirt deal with Adidas, when have we ever had a kit deal with one of the big makers?
My 8 year old son insists on Patrick football trainers to go with his Saints kit. Probably because that's his name though. I always loved Patrick in the 80s though. were cool boots and trainers. Along with admiral. Both making a come back rather than all the others (Reebok, Umbro, Diadora) that are owned by Adidas and Nike anyway. Saw some Ron Hill gear for sale in a shop the other day too Classic old brands. On the shirt quality, my kids wear theirs as soon as they come out of the wash (season before red and white equal stripes) and they aren't bobbling. Nor is my yellow one from the season before and that gets some wear down the pub. Showed my son the 87 Hummel (Denamrk style) the other day and his response was Did Southampton used to play in pink?
