I don't travel much on the underground now, but my initial genuine reaction when I read the first sign about passengers sitting on other passengers laps was - f*ck me, things really have got bad on the Northern Line. I used to get on at Clapham South. In the 80's and 90's, it was always a sardine situation in the mornings. Now, my friends daughter tells me that every morning she has to go south several stops to Tooting or Collier's Wood before she can get on. Where's it gonna end? (and don't say Mordern)

Excellent, nice one N22. This is a quality international break thread. Any other regular tube users seen any others?
