Diaz doesn't deserve a title shot at all, Fitch should've been the man to face GSP. I think you will see GSP pretty much dominate Diaz for five rounds and send that muppet back into obscurity. I think Diaz wouldn't even be in the top five of WW's in the UFC, this is obviously as decision by Dana to get more PPV sales.

Overeem is one of my favourite fighters and I see him being successful in the UFC, I would love to see him fight Velasquez.

I agree i dont see him being top five - Kos would bully him as would fitch & penn.

The only positive is the unification bouts this could set up.
This shows that the crossover fights can and will now happen.

Diaz has signed an 8 fight deal allowing him to fight in either promotion so i see him taking a prolonged 25 minute beating and heading back to SF

If you watched Diaz vs Daley, Diaz actually beat Daley at his own boxing game and is also excellent on the ground, Diaz will be GSP's best fight to date indefinately, Diaz to win by TKO 3rd round :)

Nice dream you must've had there. Diaz aint gonna knock out GSP. If he even comes close then GSP will take him down and lay and pray. Plus your comment before on the Daley fight is somewhat false seeing as Diaz almost got KTFO at the beginning of that fight.

The daley fight could have been stopped when Diaz was getting pounded.
I think if a belt was not invloved it could well have been stopped but fair play he got up and knocked daley out.
He is exciting but he poses no threat to GSP at all.

GSP boring fighter, how many decisions has he had, for someone who has the belt should be knocking, tko or summiting opponents, Diaz to bring it!

He takes no risks and i find him boring (since serra KTFO of him).
I dont think he will fancy standing with Diaz so he will no doubt be held down for 5 rounds.
Diaz is slick on the floor so it would be interesting in that sense but GSP brings to much wrestling to this one for me and he will take Diaz down with ease.
Any talk of undercard for this event yet?

no word yet but Belcher due a comeback fight for the end of the year, the GSP Vs Diaz is in the MGM Grand Arena, think GSP gets it to easily having the title fights in Toronto home town!
