You do know what happened before the WC with Cameroon, don't you?

They protested and wouldn't go unless they were paid loads of money for it.

They go, and clearly didn't give a ****. They weren't just playing bad, they weren't even trying.

    Forgot about that.

Completely stupid and asking for trouble and for people to suspect the worst. But I really don't think they'd go and not try. They might as well have been at home if they were gonna do that. I think they're just a bit ****.

No. Can't remember why but I missed it. I know they lost 4-0 but Spain lost by 4 goals too and that was more of a shock. So unless something specific happened to suggest they weren't trying?

They basically lost it - petulant outburst for a red card, indiscipline in defeat, culminating in an intra-team spat that should really have meant another red. (Think Batty v Le Saux but a bit worse.)

Add all the pre-tournament bollox and it all adds up to a shameful few weeks. How not to conduct a World Cup campaign. The only person who would defend them tonight would be DMD QC. <laugh>
