Multiple for this Guvnor. This was the first of three games on my trip to São Paulo. They have a regional cup throughout Brazil, it is a strange set up. There is a league of x teams who play x games, the top 8 sides go into the knockout stage playing games home and away then becomes semi finals and a final. All very complicated and confusing, a bit like Brazil!
This is a fantastic ground with so much character, very different to the next two I went to. São Paulo is a MASSIVE sprawl and fortunately my hotel was only 15 minutes by Uber from the ground, on a dual carriageway bypassing a rather dodgy area. The Elf lived to see another game
