This was a great game where both keepers kept their sides in it. I even managed to have a pleasant five minutes chat with Paul Hayes, he spoke very highly of Charlton and Nigel Adkins.
4th September 2021 Essex Senior League FC Clacton 3 - 1 Sawbridgeworth Town ... Part 2 Admission ... £4 concession Programme ... £1.20 Badge ... £4.50 Lager (x2) ... £7.00 Coffee (x2) ... £2.40 Total spend ... £19.10 Match report ... Football awful first half, better second half, very nice ground, plenty of character They acknowledge their stand is a bus shelter... Note ... Sawbridgeworth Town aren't from Essex. Hope it was a nice badge Elfs (see in pic with lager) sounds a bit pricy. Still, these Clubs have gotta make ends meet.
More and more clubs are producing badges, hopefully it's a profitable thing for the clubs. Clacton had a few people along the front, the Essex equivalent of Margate possibly.
Been a while since I’ve been down the Gallagher. The Stones are playing Eastbourne Borough on Saturday.
18th September 2021 (when the weather was still mild) ... the Essex Senior League Stansted 0-0 Enfield ... Part 1
Stansted 0-0 Enfield ... Part 2 Admission ... £4 (concession) Programme ... £1 ... £3.50 Coffees ... £2 total outlay ... £10.50 Attendance 80 These are rather splendid pics Elfs. Worthy of a Non-League football book. An ideal Christmas present...
Errrr.... what were you doing in the changing rooms Elf, or is it better not to know? Genuine question, who were the team in blue? I remember Enfield used to play in blue, but they seem to have dropped a long way since their glory days in the Alliance Premier back in the eighties.
I assume Stansted (the home team) were in blue, as their ground buildings are painted with a blue theme...
