Are these guys the inheritors of the old Dartford Glentworth football club, that seemed to die back in the eighties? Shame you were happy for Lewisham to beat them when as far as I can see, they haven't actually managed to beat anyone this year. Still, I suppose when the first guy you meet there is obnoxious, it kind of drives you to support the opposition. Mind you he'd have to be pretty damned nasty to make me want Lewisham to win against a team that never wins at all.
You may well be right Kenneth. The Glentworth Club is opposite the ground so it stacks up. I stuck to my South London roots and wanted them to win before the game. I spent three years in Lewisham when I was a kid, the other 20 being in Catford.
Bad luck Elfs. Sorry, I've got a big backlog of travels pictures to post. I had an unexpectedly busy day yesterday (usually like to rest on Sundays) - I will get round to posting some more soon
Before my ramblings, Mr Lardiman. In a very leafy Farnham lies a quirky little ground. The stand behind the goal makes the ground and gives a fantastic vantage point to watch the afternoon's entertainment.
Farnham won this poor game 1-0, no surprise with Eversely being bottom of the table. Concession admission £4 Programme £1 2 pints £7 Total outlay £12
Advance note: Some pictures seem to have got mixed up on my phone. I've done my best to sort them back out, but please let me know Elfs if some of the pictures don't match the game in the post title... Eynesbury Rovers V Potton United SSML Premier Division, Saturday 8th February 2020, 3pm kick off
I seem to have missed a game. Elfs, did you go to two matches in one day? Aldershot Town V Harrogate Town Saturday 1st February ... part 1
