Hope to see Barnett start this one as he has been a bit under-used recently. We should play better than we did in the first game but must try to match them for effort as they were first to almost everything then. It might be close and it probably wont be pretty but I expect us to go through to a nice trip to Cardiff where we will be the underdogs

Will probably get a ticket for the game on Monday. Let's hope it's a far better display than the last game against them. I'd expect MM will go for a 442 diamond similar to Saturdays game.

The game is on AJ, hopefully we will get a cracking win.

Welcome back on board. Keep posting!

Wow we won, just. Ogogo will be getting the Christmas bonus for securing the goal.

Something needs sorting in training as we have highly paid strikers earning good money and not doing much for 90 mins worthy of their role. Better supply, more threat and quicker reactions.

Cardiff away it is then. It says Saturday 9th January on their site, however we have Oldham at home that day so there might be some negotiations happeing tomorrow.

Feel sorry for Grimsby. Totally undeserved their defeat. Vernon, Collins and Barnett were hopeless. Ogogo's goal was completely out of character with his performance over the 90 minutes. Halstead, Brown and Lawrence were the only ones deserving of credit.

It is concerning that we have been outplayed in both games by a side two leagues below us. Thanks to Halstead for his wonder save a la Gordon Banks. I think Ogogo is a decent player who was asked last night to do a Ryan Woods type role that was beyond his capabilities and does not play to his strengths. Is Junior Brown the only player at the club who can deliver a decent cross? While the front three did not cover themselves in glory I must say the supply of decent passes to them was virtually non-existent. We need Black (if not suspended) and Cole back in for the vital games against teams around us over Christmas.
