Happy to see Grimmer back but can anyone see how he and Riley can play in the same team - I hope Riley is not the new Tootle. Ebanks-Blake is an interesting one - he certainly has talent and it will be good for Toney or AJLS to have an experienced partner up front. However, I just get the impression that Ebanks-Blake may be on the decline but we live in hope. It is now up to MM to forge some sort of recognisable team from this (on the face of it) pretty decent squad at his disposal.

Well it seems that grimmer can play at rcb and in a tactical change Riley can play at RM.

Not too obvious from the highlights whether that was good for Grimmer but it did not seem to do Riley any harm with that strike! It will be interesting to see if Grimmer can make use of his pace going forward breaking from that role- only Goldson recently was consistently able to do that for us(and he could pass too).

Grimmer got forward late on and had a good chance to make it 4 but shot straight at the keeper when one on one. Very slow to get back, though, which shows lack of match fitness.

I rate Grimmer - he has ability and puts 100% into every game. I think we have a chance of signing him permanently next season as he is happy with us and Fulham do not seem to want him
