Looks very positive regards our new player.i just hope del has three or four more lined up of the same quality,we then could be a surprise this coming season.

Well now there's a thought to lift the spirits, City dangeous down both flanks with players who can supply decent delivery again.

Almost sounds to me like a football team again...

We had Cunningham on loan under Sven, he is decent going forward and ok defensively. He is young and will improve but all round he is a good player, he likes a tackle too

He went into a 50 50 with Liam Rosenior, Rosenior got sent off and Cunningham got a broken leg

I think he will prove to be a very good signing for you

Hmmm, done by one of our ex's then...

Have we actually got rid of the belief that in a storm anything is better than nothing? How many times have we brought in new players that didn't play in the positions that required attention? Left wingers when we needed right wingers, full backs when we needed a midfield general and so on and so on.

How nice it is to see the problem areas being addressed in a sensible manner rather than the ineptitiude to which we became familiar under previous regimes. It is looking more obvious that we have brought in a manager who actually understands the game, and someone who has taken a good subjective look at the players that he inherited and decided who was surplus to requirements and who should stay. Keep the good pieces of the jigsaw and go out and find the new pieces that will complete the picture. That sounds like the way most of us believed the team should be rebuilt and now we have a leader who not only listens but takes positive action - how simple was that?
