If you didn't want your nice cars,holidays by plane ,central heating, lights on all night ,computers etc etc there wouldn't be the demand to drill for more oil !! Stop using so much of the stuff and in turn you will save the planet , why cant people realise that it is indeed all of us that create this ? If every family and indeed person decide to complain or protest about anything the power of many can dictate to the few, this is a fact that people to this day haven't quite got the idea of. The governments and corporations are **** scared of this happening, they know that people together is the most unstoppable force. The uncomfortable truth is that most people don't give a fook about anything except for themselves, and that includes all your save the planet bollocks too. If you want to save it, do something about it, like not using the things that give you your comfortable lifestyle, if all the people against my views on here made a start today by tomorrow there may be a few extra gallons of fuel not burnt up into the atmosphere . Only people together can do anything to stop what is going on in the world if your not prepared to make the sacrifices then you should stop being so hypocritical

Linking Cars and transportation to the Oil Giants is very simplistic, and has no bearing on the collective conscience of these animalistic corporations that are out of control, and hell bent on destroying our planet. Unless someone like Greenpeace puts them in the public view and mind, then they will continue to ravage our planet with impunity. There are some corporations that are now making oil rather than drilling for it, and this new scientific process will be going into mass production shortly, there are also some amazing new technologies emerging that do not rely on the oil industry such as Shell and BP, to say that we are responsible for the likes of these criminal oil giants, because we own a car, or fly on holiday is laughable, you need to get your thinking up to date mate, and anyway, I have it on very good authority, that all Jacks in Swansea have Electric Cars!...................
We managed to live before all this stuff...........but then its a choice is it not? No-one forces you to use a car, no-one forces us to go on holiday, its a choice, no-one forces us to use central heating or anything that uses oil products to create energy. We choose to use it. So, why do those who are against drilling for oil, not walking everywhere, no need to go on holidays, its a luxury, no need to have central heating, grab some fire wood, hell, dress up warmer. But that's not something they are interested in. They don't want to give it all up, but they still want them to stop drilling. Ok so what, what happens if they stop drilling? So we no longer use oil. You yourself said "its virtually impossible", so why are they asking for it to be stopped, its not impossible to live without it, its because people choose not to live without it. And until that day comes, then we will continue drilling for oil, we will continue to burn coal, we will continue to look at nuclear power. Because lets face it, wind power is not a feasible option, I mean the same people asking for renewable energy are the same ****ers who go around complaining at how ugly wind farms are and that they are destroying the natural beauty of the countryside. You cannot win with these people, why, because most of them just complain for complaining sake. Hence why I have no time whatsoever for them.

There is no right or wrong, its just a fact. Now unless the Arctic Sunrise runs on sunshine, then I would be wrong. But its not is it, it is being run on fuel that is drilled. So hypocrites. I would agree with you on being right or wrong, if I was actually giving an opinion on their stance, or the reasons for that stance, which I am not.

You don't get it, do you. They want drilling to stop in sensitive areas. They don't want all oil production to stop. No-on as far as I know is calling for cars to be banned. Same goes for computers mobile phones etc. If they were, and then using these themselves they would be hypocritical. Do you know what being a hypocrite means? You don't get it either do you, save the Arctic is not just about saving the Arctic from drilling, its to do with the melting of the ice caps due to the use of fossil fuels, industrial fishing in the area, and the drilling in the area and what it could do. So of course they want all oil drilling to stop, they want us to move away from the usage of fossil fuels to save the earth. So you damn right they are hypocrites, they are burning fossil fuels to get their points across, as I said their ships do not run on ****ing sunshine. If we moved to clean energy, and still left a few oil rigs in business for other factors, these stupid ****s still wouldn't be happy with that, they would move on to the next rig, and moan about oil spills ruining that area.
