Have I ****.

Get the prospectus out last Weds and the thing closes tomorrow??

In the weeks up to Crimbo?

I can just see the look of joy in the weans eyes when they wake up on Crimbo morning and find that they've each got £500 worth of shares instead of presents which will no doubt lose 75% of their value within a year or two.

What makes you say they will lose 75% in the next year or 2?

Football shares always do, Monica.

As a rule, I would generally not invest in football shares(although I did double my money in Sunderland shares years ago). Also, George Soros bought 7.85% of Man United not so long ago and he knows a thing or 2 about investing. Anyway, I digress, I haven't seen the prospectus or anything, but I would have thought that now is the time to invest in Rangers, unless of course you think that they are going to be ****ed again. Buying shares in a club in the 3rd division that will be eventually back in the CL(we ****ing better be)isn't the worst idea in the world. Can I assume it is a ridiculous question to ask if they are paying a dividend?!

How much did you sink into it Gerard?

Hahaha, I ****ing knew you were going to ask that! I sank in the square root of **** all, but not because I think it is a particularly bad investment, more because I am too lazy and I'm of the opinion that there will be enough other people doing it. I haven't done any research on the matter at all.

I'm of the opinion that the shares are over-priced and will not retain their value.

They will be paying a dividend too.
