Ned is never a right back. He daren't even venture across the half-way line. He is not the solution. He can play on the right side of a back three, perhaps. But a right back he is not. 'Arry has royally fecked up by shifting Simpson. He has left Isla facing no competition for his place.

Every QPR fan could see and knew this. Why couldn't a manager on upwards of 2m a year and his coaching cronies not ?

I think Ned is at least as good at RB as he is at CB and as good as Simpson - neither too good going forward but OK defensively. Very occasionally when Ned's confidence is good he shows that he can be brilliant in the other half too. Agree it doesn't make much sense Arry selling Simpson when the only other cover for Isla is Ned whose speed is needed at CB.

Ozzie, the Chief ain't no right back. You could shunt him out there alright but he's loose and keeps drifting inside which is natural for him.

Hill is a better fullback than Onuoha

Don't agree about Ned. He played well at RB a long time for us, as well as Simpson anyway. And I have never seen Clint play RB! At LB he's solid all right, has a good left food but he isn't going to cope in the PL against anyone who is faster than me which is not too quick now!

I believe Swords was making the analogy of CB's also being able to cover off a FB position (L or R).

Bottom line is we should have kept Simpson, and if he is fit, Harry should be playing Yun at LB/LWB.

Perhaps Harry could try Clint at RB and Dunney at LB!

Not meaning any offence here in the slightest but you must be joking with this comment. I'm not going to judge you as i don't know if you've been to many live games or not (Oslo is in your name), but to say Onuaha is as good at RB as Simpson is silly, and he's also a far better CB than he is at RB. neds touch is horrible at times, and he certainly never likes to venture forward or attack with any real menace. All about opinions though I guess.

Ever see the goal Ned scored I think it was for Sunderland? One of the best of that season.

His touch looks pretty good here when he ventured forward?

Yes I saw that goal. Fantastic, no doubting. Do you think he's technically good then? And you think he's a better right back than Simpson, yes?

Again, one example to go against my opinion still doesn't do it for me. Do you think he's got a good touch then? And is good in the oppositions half?
