Interesting how Waggy was linked with Burnley in the summer for £400k yet we dont think he's good enough for the Championship

He's more experienced and the League is less physical than L1 so he might do better this time

He did, against Reading, which Benson scored (from a Green attack I believe).

Good Lord yes you're right. Benson played well, went off at half-time with a broken finger and was never seen again in a Charlton shirt.

Pre season also- green and benno combined on more than one occasion (in my head I have our final game ringing a bell). But, when we sold Benno, we had kermo as being one of our 3 best players and Hayes as a more than competent stand by. This was next to an automatic starting berth for BWP.

Sorry to dredge this up again but...

I admit he's played well of late and helped our little turn around of form and I wasn't there yesterday - Waggy may have been a key factor to the win for all I know - but if you're on a Yellow with a card-happy Ref and the player is going away from goal and very close to the edge of the box why would you make that sliding tackle?

He has no brain our Waggy.

Worst is he looked like he slipped and fell whilst attempting the tackle.

    I'm glad he'll miss a few games.

He should never have put himself in the position to get the first Yellow.

Was on the half-way line running towards the Oldham goal, did his usual job of turning his back on the players who came to press him and rather than pass or put the ball out of play he was forced back to the goal line where he lost the ball.

Their player was in the clear and could and would have squared it across the box had Wagstaff not brought their player down on the edge of the area

I can picture this now - with his face like a shocked weasel or a suprised rat or a Tulisa after Googling herself - as he turns and thinks to himself well this never happens on Fifa...

Scott Wagstaff looks like a player who learnt how to play through an Xbox.

Ohh I think you underestimate us... We're all very modest actually.

No I wasn't there but I've seen enough - might start doing the opposite of The Voice everytime he gets the ball at The Valley.

As for Holland's tackle (I won't make a triplets pun...) it was never a red card but I'm glad he'll get a rest from the XI.

I was there hence my comment on the Yellow card in the first half

I'm not saying he deserved to get sent off for the second yellow but when you've been stupid enough to get booked already for a situation like that... I'm sure CP will pick up on this as well

I was there, Sat behind the directors box in the main stand.

Hollands foul was right in front of us, even the oldham fans didn't think it was a red!

Waggy deserved to be sent off for stupidity, should never of put himself in the position for the first yellow and shouldn't of dived in knowing what the ref was like.

I agree with a previous comment that he looks like he learnt the game playing fifa.
