    3rd round: Stoke 1 vs 1 Cardiff
3rd round replay: Cardiff 0 vs 2 Stoke
    4th round - Wolves 0 vs 1 Stoke
    5th round - Stoke 3 vs 0 Brighton
    6th round - Stoke 2 vs 1 West Ham
    Semi-finals - Bolton 0 vs 5 Stoke
Finals - Man City 1 vs 0 Stoke

And then, as Man City already qualified for the CL, Stoke got into the Europa League.

I honestly couldn't think of an easier run of fixtures in the FA Cup that year if I tried. And then they get in via a technicality to represent England in the EL with their drab, ****ty football.

Earned it? Not sure if that's the right term to use.

With respect, Chappie, as a Mag, you're probably seeing this from a slightly different angle to us. I certainly can think of an easier cup run than theirs - like Notts County at home, for example! And I'm not so very happy about their fifth round opponents either, for reasons which hardly need saying.

Am I green-eyed jealous? No, not at all. What I am is god-damn, blood-spitting angry. I don't like their football, but Stoke have pushed on and got somewhere while we haven't - bottom line.

I've read all of these statements and at the end of the day,

Fans always have a difference of opinion for example

True fans know that Darren Bent was a fantastic goalscorer and when he left the idiots said he was poor. Football brings out the deludicy in people and it goes to show week in week out. Dean Whitehead was once the first name on the team sheet as the engine now people slate him because he left. Kenwyne Jones the same, Gyan the same etc etc

Whatever team Bruce puts out probably 50% will disagree

    Saturday

    Westwood
    Bardsley - Turner - Brown - Richardson
    Elmo - Gardner - Colback - Sessegnon
    Bentdner - Whickham

Larsson should not be risked with his current groin trouble

Most will disagree with this too, different opinions equal silly arguments.

Spot on, mate. Exactly right. I never understood the bitterness that these players get.
