Watched the first half in a Disneyland hotel, and the second in the van taking us into Paris, all on the mobile phone, so the view was pretty distant. Great three points on the road, and good to bounce back from being beaten by Bolton. I don't really want to disect a good win, but a few points. All four of our wins recently were in delicately balanced games where we battled hard, showed great team spirit, but could have lost had the opposition been better at finishing, so while it's great to see us pulling up the table, there is no need to get very excited about this season, as at some point we're going to meet a team who know how to finish (even Bolton were pretty poor up front, but the two they scored were enough). Our youngsters continue to shine - Ness with a great through pass was another thing of beauty. Kilkenny looked a very good player for someone who hasn't played very much, but I read he has a contract until 2025 with Bournemouth, so I doubt he'll be looking for a transfer to a mid table tier three club anytime soon. Very much one to enjoy for the remainder of the season. Great goals fom Rak-Sakyi and CBT, but they both have an ability to pick the wrong pass at will when going forward. They are both players who make our attack look a lot stronger, but how much beter would they be if the decisiion making was decent? Still, way better than we looked in mid december, and you'd have to expect a few more wins as the season progresses. I liked Garner, but he was trying to get players to stuff they simply couldn't. Holden seems much more pragmatic, and that is probably a better way to go at this level.
