Decent performance and clean sheet. Just the final pass and decision making around the box let us down a bit. I think a point was a fair result, both teams could have won it and would have been harsh for either to come away with nothing.

Tough game up next at Upton, I think we will bring Brighton back down to earth on Saturday though!

Spanish he did well tracking back and got some good challenges in but can't think of anything positive he did going forward. That's credit to us though - they were definitely stifled by us particularly Collins who dealt with everything comfortably.

Agree, I feel like we have a football team we can rely on and really get behind with some genuine belief that we can beat anyone in this league. My only concern is, can dads army fc last a season? Our midfield are working really well together but if one of them was to get injured I wouldn't be so confident with JET, Carson or Healy in the midfield and the same goes for CB, if we were to rely on Delaney for a number of games I think we'd struggle.

Schwarzer's injury is another concern, although I hear he managed to play on through the 90 mins.

Svendust it's not a concern to me. It's about building and I feel we have something to build on.

I think Delaney is actually a good deputy, he's just not a good first choice - we have Ingirmarsson to come back as well.

Stockdale being recalled would be a massive blow but then again if we hadn't agreed to the recall clause then we wouldn't have the possibility of having a top class keeper for the season.

I'm not looking at it in terms of the luck we need to keep this XI together - if we can keep going like this and get ourselves a decent league position then we're a much more attractive proposition for a further three or four good signings in January.

I think we have ample options in the middle of the park, we could do with signing a killer striker.

Best case scenario would be for Fulham to be relegated and Stockdale to play in the Prem with us next season!!!!

Happy with a point, and happy with our current progress, may it continue. The lack of new articles this morning must mean we are doing well, funny how people have less to say when we are doing well than when we are not. Human nature I guess, that's why bad news stories sell better than good ones.

Very good point and a very good performance. I am slightly amazed however that a couple of weeks ago many on here who were very sceptical of PJ and ITFC's progress this season seem to have completely changed their mind and IMO have gone to far the other way based just on 2 good results. Make no doubt about it there will be big setbacks in the coming months but the biggest positive is that finally we have quality in our team and we have a manager who seems to know what he is doing and IMO we are moving in the right direction but it is going to take more than just this season for us to progress to where we want to be!!!

Svendust I'm not quite so concerned about the midfield but definitely I think Delaney is a big problem if he has to play a part. We looked so much worse in defence when Delaney came on against Cov.

Hamps I agree with your point regarding we actually have something to build upon now but all this about a killer striker surely Chopra will be this player in time? I think we are more in need of another decent winger so we can change it up a bit if Carson and Martin are off form.
