I'm not saying we should stick with him - if the take-over goes through and i think it wont - but only that if he was given the task I'd back him to get us into top 10 with some decent funding and to bring in young players to then be looking up the table again the following year.

I know some people think we're going to be spending hundreds of millions on players and immediately challenging for the Champions League. I think they're nuts. Steady progression is the best we can hope for i think and with Bruce i think we'll get it.

I don't get why some people seem to hate him.

PS. If we get bought out and an amazing manager in who is given £1bn to build a team I absolutely reserve to right to forget about anything said prior to that moment.

WTF is wrong with people.

Not only is he a **** of a human being but he is literally one of the worst ever PL managers.

He has exceeded my expectations this season - well done. Now **** off.

Takeover or not he has to go. Should never have been here in the first place.

 

Well I'm struggling to see how he can be shortlisted, other than they needed four options, and our record was better than the rest. Saying that, but for a late equaliser by Villa, it would arguably have been 3 wins from 3.

Should he stay or should he go, if takeover actually happens then it's a case of thanks Steve, but goodbye and best wishes from me. Stuff the safe pair of hands, sentiment ****, blah, blah, blah.

In the event it doesn't, his position will be rock solid and he'll be going nowhere fast, so continue to enjoy the feast of football mediocrity at best. The football under him has been dire, but then again the bar was already set low, so it's a moot point for me.

 

Was there a March manager of the month or is this effectively the March/June manager of the month? If it is then he'll be in there because of the unbeaten run we are on

I’m not sure but I think the clue is in the title, “Manager” not players or Managers or fans. “of the Month” Not week or year or MONTHS.

 

Do you want me to forward your complaint on to the Premier League since they have now said that results for the first half of March were taken into account for these nominations? Personally. I'd prefer not to as I'd prefer them to concentrate on clearing the takeover!
