Erm, so RVP going PUBLIC and saying he won't sign, is not forcing a move?! As soon as he did that it alerted Manunited to come poaching for him, he should have kept that private between him and Wenger, instead of going public like a bitch.

Fabregas never went public and did anything near close to that. He never said I want to go, and he forced the move.

Better than nothing right? If Fabregas was a disloyal servant, then why even stay for that one extra season, rather than just leaving, which is what most players do, they just force the move, or they make a big stink about it. Look at Nasri-RVP, those ****s would never listen to Wenger if he told them stay just 1 more season.

RvP and Nasri left in far more shameful manners than Cesc ever could.

Fabregas agreed to a cut to his Arsenal £120K p.w. wages and lost £4 MILLION end of contract loyalty bonus to move to his home club.
Same summer Nasri agreed £185K p.w. wages with ManCity.
If Fabregas wanted more money he could easily get £200K+ with ManCity that summer.

Players wages are a matter of conjecture. None of us know how much Fabregas was earning at Arsenal or how much he is earning at Barcelona.

Wow you must be really drunk if you think Fabregas' action were more shameful than Nasri!

Did Nasri refuse to play ?
Did he refuse to go on a pre season tour ?
This is a question I asked earlier but nobody has yet answered. How long did Fabregas have left on his contract ?

Fabregas did not go on pre-season with us, because Wenger gave the club the green light to sell after the promise he made to Cesc the year before. With Nasri, he tried to keep him but failed. Fabregas had every right to leave after the years of great service he gave us. At times, he dragged our sorry lot to victories on his own.

Also the contract length does not matter, as we have seen if a player wants to leave a club, in the end he will leave. Cesc gave us another year because Wenger asked him to and he did. Nasri and RVP did no such thing, despite giving half the service that Cesc gave us.

So the story about him not going on the pre season tour because he was injured is just bullshit then ?

Personally I think the contract length is relevant

Of course it was. Cesc was long gone and Wenger turned his attentions to Nasri and tried his best to keep him.

Are you stating a fact or is it just your opinion ?

It's well known. Alex Fynn who has good inside knowledge of the club stated that Wenger refused to sell Nasri until the very end, and his comments about if we sell Cesc and Nasri in the same summer, we can no longer be regarded as a big club was clearly aimed at the board. He gave up on trying to keep Cesc, because Wenger is hardly going to go back on his word. The only reason it took so long to sell Cesc in that summer, were Barca were being ****s, and we were trying to insert different clauses into his contract, stuff like the first refusal and us getting a cut of any future fee, should Barca sell Cesc.

Fabregas coming back as manager? He was a fantastic player for us but not a flipping legend!!

Bergy, Thierry, Tony etc are legends. Ian Wright towers over Fabregas in terms of Arsenal history and achievements yet opinion about the former are less rosy....merely because the latter is more generous with sugar coated words.

For me Fabregas was nothing but a wonderful player for us, one whose time with us will be remembered in Arsenal history books as being emblematic of the 8 years without a trophy....lots of super attacking possession football but just falling short of tangible achievement.

I hate it when the word legend gets branded about just because he says nice things about us. The guy is leveraging the good faith of the supporters to plan for his post playing career in football....nothing more.

I personally wouldn't want him managing unless he comes back and actually helps us to deliver the league at least once.

I'm a fickle **** when it comes to football. If he wanted to come back to Arsenal then everything would be forgiven.

As far as I'm concerned Fabregas is just another ex player but if he was to ever return -which I very much doubt- I would give him my 100% support as I would any other player who wears the red shirt
