I think they should really also end up like when homer simpson was waste commissioner for springfield. they ruined the place so much they all moved 5 miles down the road.

the scots can all go to frigging NI in another plantation to get away from the lunatic fringe.

The rest of Britain have the ace card to negotiate.. like "they cannot use the pound" as an independent country.

Well it's just proof you want to be "ruled" <laugh> Boris is a ****ing eejit. Doesn't he do thinks like spend tax payers money on water cannons for police, even though they are not legally allowed to be used in the UK <doh>

He's an entertainer, with his buffoonery, but a leader? never, mind you, these public facing muppets don't really run anything anyway.

Boris has done well for the people of London also his predecessor Ken Livingstone , the only problem he had is that he's from
the left of labour party. I think Boris can as well do well as a Prime Minister of Britain.

This is where the whole independence thing crumbles. The assumption by Salmond and Jimmy Krankie is that they will join the Euro. Given that Europe is on its knees, I doubt the Germans will want to have to support another country that will always struggle to be self sufficient. The New UK certainly won't commit to contributing anything to a pot that will have a portion of it syphoned off to Independent Scotland. So they will be left with one option ie establishing their own currency which will take years to stabilise. What will they call it? Probably the Sturgeon.

I say cut them loose. Tell them that they are welcome to come back and beg for forgiveness in 5 years but only if they ask nicely and all those who voted for independence have voting privileges rescinded for 5 years.

The currency issue was the main driver for the No vote imo.

They assumed they'd be fast tracked into the EU, but as you rightly say, they're hardly an economic power house, so I doubt there'd have been a clamour for that in Brussels.

At the time of the vote I wanted them to stay, their actions since and the protest SNP vote at the General election makes me think they deserve to fester in their own piss. So let them have what they want, and see how they end up liking them apples.
