Great Beards in football

Tim ****in Howard appears to have a bit of a beard going on in this Everton Vs Chelsea game..... He probably had a beard before the game too.


As an aside, that Barclay kid looks a tremendous player. I didn't realise he was so young when he made his debut. He looks a totally different guy now.

Do you have a favourite Premier team Rebel?

 

I remember him from about 3 years ago but never made an impression on me. Then all of a sudden he looks to be a great player. Strong, two footed with good balance. He's going places.

My house was a GAA house, so although I was raised in between Tottenham and Arsenal, they may as well have been on mars. I had a soft spot for Everton as a kid. No particular reason why..... I guess I still do. When I started going to games, it was All the local clubs but never as a supporter, more a football lover. As a fully grown up man I've had encounters with a few clubs that have reaffirmed the stereotypes (and possibly my prejudices) of those clubs.

I never heard about Socrates being a GAA man, but there was an urban myth about him playing for UCD in football.

the Alonso one got massively embellished but it was true.
