I've not seen any verification for that quote other than a letter written into the Guardian FL Blog today. I don't count that as reliable evidence that he said it. Now if he did say it, I'd not be a happy bunny and he could promptly **** off. But it doesn't fit with all his other statements about Leeds in the past which have tended to be positive.
I think Warnock's one of those who goes on like he hates us but really has respect for the club and would take the job if Bates weren't here.
He made some arsey comments after us beating them last season about us celebrating like we'd won the Cup Final (coincidentally the same thing Leicester fans were saying after we won at your place this season! ) But I don't think anyone gives a toss. It's his mind-tricks routine, and if it gets the players into a good old-fashioned Leeds Against The World mentality, we'll be better off for it.
