You've raised another issue there, Josh. How often do we beat teams by three clear goals? We've lost plenty by three clear goals but I can't think of too many we've won by that margin.

And actually the 4-1 victories over Hartlepool and Forest, two which immediately spring to mind, had plenty of cause for complaint about the performances.

Every Leeds fan has to learn to accept that we're a completely different team from the one when we originally got relegated to the Championship and before that when we were in the Premiership. New structures in terms of finances and a complete overhaul within staff both non playing and playing. To think that we should have achieved back to back promotions was unrealistic. The fact that we finished 7th was a fantastic achievement for the club. Yes, a numerous amount of points were lost from winning positions and maybe looking back we could have finished higher. But we didn't, so everyone should get over it and move on!! The level of scepticism and negativity on these boards is astonishing!! We're a club in transition, things are not as easy as we would like them to be.
Let's face it, the squad we had was not exactly exceptional, if someone had told me at the beginning of the season that we'd finish 7th, I would have laughed my head off. A manager's got to have some sort of talent if he can do what he did with the squad with we had.
