I agree that Holty is unlikely to start as often next season, but I can still see him starting relatively regularly unless we buy another striker - I think he would make a great partnership with RvW and he even said that's how he likes playing in the interview.

We sign Hooper or AN Other, then I agree Holty will only get a proper run in the team if there is an injury.
 
Believe me I'm really looking foward to seeing Wolfie in a Norwich shirt.
What I'm struggling with is that some seem to think that his success in the PL playing for us is somehow guaranteed. A given. Even to the level of preferring him up front, when he hasn't kicked a ball for us yet.
I'm honestly shocked at the "new is better" mantra.
More in keeping with QPR supporters and the like, in my opinion.

Totally agree with you, he could "do a Diego Forlan" you never know.

Just because he has done it in a different league doesn't mean he is going to do it in the Prem.

Looks like we have an ignorant little teenager who has left school with no qualifications or ambition in life who has set up multiple accounts. Probably a hooded neandethal with nothing better to do other than collect his state hand-outs every week <doh>
 
Anyway, back on subject........!
I have to take odds with all the people saying how well Holt has done as an impact sub - I think in the main he has been very poor in that role. I don't think it suits him at all, he's a player, who, a bit like Rooney, needs to be playing regularly. He's been lucky to stay on the pitch twice after coming on near the end, and his ever decreasing pace and ever increasing girth will only make his inability to get the pace of the game more and more of an issue.
Don't get me wrong, I love Grant Holt, he is a club legend and without a shadow of a doubt a significantly more skilful footballer than nearly everyone gives him credit for.
But, I think his time is up with us, and I fully expect to see him move on in the summer - my hope is that he will be part of the deal to bring Hooper to Carrow Road.
